Mr. Canlar was a former Senior Sales Executive for United Health care one of the largest US and international insurance carriers and has been in the corporate insurance benefits industry for over 10 years with extensive knowledge in Health Insurance, Ancillary and Voluntary Benefits Mr. Canlar has been a featured speaker at international medical tourism conferences in 5 continents and has conducted workshops in integrating global healthcare within the US insurance model. Mr. Canlar was born in Ankara, Turkey and currently resides in New Jersey. Mr. Canlar graduated from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
Dr. Chad Holloway is a Managing Partner of GBO providing marketing, contracting, strategic planning, and project management services related to international healthcare for healthcare providers and consumers. Dr. Holloway has held a variety of healthcare insurance and hospital positions. At WellPoint, Inc., the largest U.S. healthcare insurer in terms of membership and the holding company for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, he was responsible for medical cost containment for the Missouri plan, managing strategic and financial planning for three WellPoint, Inc. companies, and managing a regional, multi-state provider network for a PPO. Prior to joining WellPoint, Inc., he worked in administration at multiple BJC HealthCare System hospitals in St. Louis, Missouri, including Barnes Jewish Hospital. Educationally, Dr. Holloway has a Ph.D. from the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida; a master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, in St. Louis, Missouri; and was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship in mental health services research at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Morgan Pile VP of Business Development, CES, GBDS has several years of experience offering employer benefits products as a Certified Enrollment Specialist and a Group Benefits Disability Specialist. From 2002 to 2004 he was a registered investment advisor for AXA, helping employers design pension and retirement plans in Tampa, Florida. Prior to starting Partners Insurance in 2007, he was the Executive Vice President of Brown and Brown Insurance of Arkansas for four years, where he served on the National Benefits Committee. Currently, Mr. Pile consults with national and international clients, helping them grow their businesses through innovative programs offered by some of the best companies in the world. He works with employers and other countries to help them design insurance products and programs that can save employers money and help other countries market a program to American insurance companies, TPAs, and employers. He also focuses on wellness programs as a preventative cost control measure, which helps large employers to actually start to take control of rising costs. His main focus is on being a proactive consultant, actively managing health plans and providing inventive resolutions to help clients save money. He keeps up to date on the trends in the industry, especially in medical tourism where he is considered an expert. Living in Puerto Rico for 12 years, Morgan is fluent in Spanish and is influential in the Latin American countries.
Christina Sy is Global Benefit Option’s Business Development Coordinator in the Asian region. A consulting firm dedicated to the medical tourism industry and a leading expert in medical tourism. Ms. Sy contributes in planning and implementing sales and marketing activities in order to meet GBO's targets for growth, and to contribute to the executive management of the company. Recruits, manages, trains and motivates direct reporting staff. Maintains administration and relevant reporting and planning systems. Also maintains and develops corporate image, reputation, and develops the company's brands via suitable PR activities and social media. Ms. Sy has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and in business process outsourcing. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Management. Her goal is to become a steadfast medical tourism consultant and assist member healthcare providers expand their medical tourism business potential with GBO.
Amana Fahoum, Account Executive currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Amana has 7 years’ experience in management and sales from a variety of industries, including health insurance and medical tourism facilitation. Amana believes strongly in getting involved in her community. She currently volunteers for the local chapter of the Brain Injury Association and has given her support to Heifer International, St. Jude Children’s Research, Make-a-Wish, and the Arbor Day Foundation.
Gillette Misola joins Global Benefit Options as an Administrative Assistant who communicates and provides information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups. With over 2 years experience in research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making. Gillette will be a great addition to the healthcare consulting services GBO offers to its clients. Prior to joining GBO, Gillette was a technical support associate in one of the largest telecommunication company in Australia. She provides technical assistance to customers via electronic mail, phone and other electronic medium. From 2008-2009 she was an information technology helpdesk officer for CTI, helping co-employees and clients manage, organize and resolve their technical issues. It could be a problem with software, a virus or email issues, or it could be a problem with the equipment itself. She also worked as a data analyst in the same company before she got promoted as helpdesk officer. Her duty was to ensure the quality of data that were entered using database applications. Gillette Misola holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional (Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Exam) and finished Cisco Networking Basics and Routers and Routing Basics.
Lic. Hector Estrada is our Latin America Coordinator (Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala). In this capacity he is responsible for choosing institutions of high prestige in Latin America to be part of the GBO family. Mr. Estrada works with medical and governmental organizations to improve marketing and increase the opportunity for patients' to select and travel to their facilities. Mr. Estrada was born in San Pedro Sula, Cortez Honduras and currently lives in Guatemala where he graduated from the University Galileo in 2007 with a degree in Business Administrator. Mr. Estrada has been a business proffessional for over 9 years 6 of those years with experience in international sales traveling around Central America, South America and the Caribbean. This experience has helped our Latin American clients to grow their facilities international recognition by highlighting the professionalism of Latin America doctors and state of the art equipment in their institutions. Marcelo Ore, 25, MD, is a global citizen and Account Executive at GBO; he was born in Peru, but Mexico became his current home country. He has had the opportunity to live in and visit many Latin American countries including Costa Rica, Panama, Chile, Peru and Mexico, because he and his family are International Partners for Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), a non-profit organization located in Atlanta, GA. He has also worked as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Mexico, and participated at the Jimmy Carter Work Project 2004 held in Veracruz, Mexico. Mr. Ore is currently attending his last year in Medical School, and he has been able to combine activities from his academic obligations, as a Business Entrepreneur on E-commerce, as well as getting along in building customer relationships abilities, having worked with local and national companies in the marketing and sales areas. He is absolutely convinced that Medical Tourism has an amazing potential in developing countries, since most professionals are usually outstandingly trained because of the Medical Education System programs, which include working in demanding and even stressful situations, requiring a high level of creativity and improvisation, combined together with a lot of practice at State owned hospitals and even in rural areas, resulting in highly trained professionals.
Audrey Pile CDA; EFDA hails to us from Orlando, Florida, born in NYC. She is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She also has an Associate in Science degree in Dental Assisting with Expanded Function Duties (EFDA) from MTI, in Bradenton, FL. Her backround includes Dental Implants, Dental Sales, and now Medical Tourism. After many years of Dental Consulting experience in the USA, Audrey is now working to send patients overseas for their dental treatment and smile makeovers.
